Велика Британія в європейській зовнішній і безпековій політиці: огляд західної історіографії

Анотація

В статті проаналізовано здобутки західної історичної науки у дослідженні історії участі Великої Британії у Спільній зовнішній політиці і політиці безпеки Європейського Союзу. Автор розглянув публікації дослідників за трьома змістовними групами: 1) загальні праці з історії формування СЗППБ ЄС; 2) публікації з історії участі країни в європейській інтеграції як напряму її європейської зовнішньої політики; 3) роботи, присвячені конкретно темі участі Великої Британії у СЗППБ ЄС. Проведено аналіз стану висвітлення зазначеної тематики в працях європейських та американських дослідників. Подано результати моніторингу провідних зарубіжних наукових видань, на сторінках яких найчастіше публікуються матеріали з проблем європейської інтеграції і європейської політики Великої Британії. Також представлено перелік провідних наукових центрів з вивчення означеної проблематики. У підсумку констатовано, що проблематика участі Сполученого Королівства у Спільній зовнішній політиці і політиці безпеки Європейського Союзу увійшла до переліку тем дослідження європейських (в т.ч. британських) та американських вчених, але не стала пріоритетною і залишається недостатньо розробленою, про що свідчить насамперед відсутність спеціальних монографічних публікацій.
