The article deals with the peculiarities of Austrian activity as part of the EU since the entry of Austria into the European Union to today. The reasons of the integration of Austria to the EU are analyzed in the paper. The Austrian presidency process of the EU Council is considered in the article. The paper is devoted to the problem of Austrian euroscepticism and the process of changing these views in our time.
