Austrian path to European integration

The article deals with the peculiarities of Austrian integration policy since its birth and ending point of entry to the European Union. The causes of Austrian neutrality as the only alternative to bipolar Europe is analzyed in the paper. The transformation of the neutral status of Austria and its adaptation to European 101 security is considered in the article. The paper is devoted to the problems of reorientation of Austrian point of view to issue of EU accession.
