Abstract. The purpose of the article is to examine the features of the social stratification of the volunteer movement in Ukraine after the Revolution of Dignity, taking into account the gender and age division of the population and its social status.

The research methodology is based on the application of both general scientific methods (classification, method of complex analysis, etc.) and special historical methods (problem-chronological, comparative-historical, historical-typological, historical-situational, descriptive, etc.).

The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the fact that the participation of Ukrainian citizens in the volunteer movement after the Revolution of Dignity was comprehensively investigated.

Conclusions. The features of the participation of different age categories and social groups of the population in the volunteer movement in 2014-2020 are considered. It was found that after the Revolution of Dignity, active participants in the volunteer movement were both young people under the age of 35 and representatives of the older generation, including people of retirement age. Gender parity among volunteers has also been achieved.

Based on various sociological studies conducted in the first years after the Revolution of Dignity and until 2020, it has been proven that despite the participation in volunteer activities of representatives of different age groups and professions, the most active participants in the volunteer movement continued to be young people. At the same time, the volunteer movement has become widespread among university and secondary school students. In some volunteer organizations, in particular, Caritas Ukraine, representatives of the younger generation made up at least 50% of participants. Finally, it was found that with the stabilization of socio-economic and socio-political life in Ukraine, starting around 2017, the volunteer movement in Ukraine began to decline, however, leading volunteer organizations and individual volunteers continued to carry out their work in various areas.
