КОЛОНІАЛЬНИЙ ТУРИЗМ: РОЗВИТОК, ВИДИ, ХАРАКТЕРНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ

Анотація. Стаття присвячена вивченню історії колоніального туризму у другій половині ХІХ на початку ХХ століття в країнах Сходу. Розкривається взаємозв’язок між формуванням колоніальної системи, нових потреб капіталістичного розвитку європейських країн у ХІХ столітті та зародженням туризму, як важливого інструменту вивчення колонізованих територій, історико-культурного пізнання залежних держав і народів, неправомірного використання їхніх природних і людських ресурсів. Наголошується, що поступово ринок вражень та відпочинку став важливим фактором економічної та культурної експлуатації колоній. Пропонується визначення, що колоніальний туризм є типом організації подорожей, яка передбачала відвідування колоніальне залежних територій з метою знайомства з історією, культурою, історико-культурною спадщиною, повсякденним життям місцевих жителів, з метою оздоровлення та відпочинку. Колоніальний туризм характеризується як внутрішній (поїздки представників колоніальної меншості по країні свого тимчасового перебування), і як зовнішній (відвідування жителів метрополій колоніальне залежних територій з туристичною метою). Такий вид туризму характеризується особливим елітарним соціальним та етнічним складом туристів.

Аналізується зв’язок розвитку туристичних подорожей і формування транспортної інфраструктури, зокрема залізничного і морського транспорту, що значно збільшило можливості для масового переміщення людей і товарів.

Характеризуються такі форми колоніального туризму, як поїздки з екскурсійно-пізнавальною метою, колоніальні круїзи, колоніальне полювання, організація місць відпочинку – „ станцій на пагорбах”. Акцентується увага на поширенні в досліджуваний період таких популярних видів інформації про колоніальні території, як поштові ( колоніальні) листівки. 

Наголошується, що актуальність даної теми обумовлена тим, що в сучасному туризмі багатьох країн ще має місце історична несправедливість, яка проявляється в експлуатації, зловживаннях образами минулого, захопленням колоніальною ностальгією, неправомірному перетворені на товар культурного та етнічного надбання колись колоніальна залежних народів.
